Overview

Christopher Jefferies helps clients from an array of industries resolve complex commercial disputes, both in courts and in international arbitration.

International Issues & Dispute Resolution

Christopher has experience representing clients in a wide variety of commercial disputes. He represents companies before the High Court on contract, intellectual property and product liability disputes, and in insolvency proceedings. He has also advocated for clients in contract disputes under the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) rules. A dual-qualified attorney in both England and Wales and in Ontario, Canada, Christopher is well positioned to advise clients on international and cross-border disputes. He has extensive experience advising international businesses on issues related to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Prior Experience

While completing his training contract at Faegre Drinker, Christopher gained experience with the employment, real estate, corporate and business litigation teams. Prior to joining Faegre Drinker, Christopher worked as a paralegal with a large U.S. firm, focusing on the GDPR implications of a data breach at an international company. He also worked as a paralegal at a boutique U.S. litigation firm, with a concentration in competition and financial services cases. During university, Christopher completed an internship at a law firm in Mumbai, India, with a particular focus on international arbitration.

Personal Interests

Christopher enjoys going to the theatre, cooking, following politics and skiing.
