Overview

Laura Johnson represents clients in patent and other complex intellectual property litigation.

Laura served as a career law clerk to the Honorable Donovan W. Frank, United States District Court, District of Minnesota in St. Paul, from 2002 through 2011. Drawing on deep knowledge of court proceedings and judicial preferences gained during that clerkship, Laura partners with litigation teams to develop effective trial and motion practice strategies and to craft briefs for federal courts throughout the country. A skilled legal researcher and writer, Laura has experience in various phases of litigation, including pre-suit investigations, discovery and non-dispositive motions, claim construction, dispositive motions and trial.

Personal Interests

Laura is a bookworm, a birdwatcher and a lifelong Nordic skier.
