Overview

Christine Kain defends pharmaceutical, medical device, food and beverage, and other manufacturers in class actions, mass torts, product liability and consumer fraud cases.

Product Liability Experience

Christine has been involved in multidistrict and large-scale product liability litigation, with experience:
  • Managing offensive and defensive discovery issues
  • Conducting hundreds of depositions of opposing parties, doctors and expert witnesses 
  • Briefing and arguing procedural, discovery, dispositive and trial motions
  • Preparing witnesses for trial

Cross-Product Experience

Christine has served as national and local counsel in matters involving contraceptives, bisphosphonates, hormone replacement therapy, anti-psychotic medications, medical devices, asbestos, food recalls and foodborne illness outbreaks, and consumer fraud class actions.

Commercial Litigation

Christine also has significant experience as the lead lawyer in commercial disputes, general product liability actions and premises liability actions.

Personal Interests

A former teacher and paralegal, Christine enjoys spending time debating the importance of the Oxford comma (it is important), reading novels by Tad Williams and Jim Butcher, playing tennis, and spending time with her family.
