Overview

Matt Kamps helps clients advance their goals through patent strategies and dispute resolution, primarily in patent litigation and inter partes review (IPR) proceedings. In addition to his litigation and post-grant practice, Matt develops global patent prosecution strategies, drafts legal opinions and IP licensing agreements, and conducts IP due diligence for prospective collaborations.
Matt's intellectual property technology expertise includes:

Past Experience

Before joining Faegre Baker Daniels, Matt served as a patent counsel in the oncology division of one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies, where he oversaw and developed the patent estates of oncology pipeline biologics. After law school, he practiced at a Chicago-based intellectual property firm.

Personal Interests

Matt enjoys writing, cartooning and spending time with his wife and two senior pugs.
