Patent Specialist


Colleen Kline has extensive experience as a paralegal specializing in intellectual property. As a member of the intellectual property group, she focuses on patent matters assisting to manage patent prosecution and maintenance of patent applications in the U.S. and foreign jurisdictions.

Colleen assists the legal team to manage U.S., PCT, non-member PCT and National Stage applications from filing to grant. She assists in the drafting of prosecution and other legal documents, communicates with clients to manage these documents, assists in responses to U.S. and foreign office actions and researches international filing and patentability requirements. In addition, she compiles complex status charts and spreadsheets for clients assisting clients in the management of their patent portfolios.

Additional Experience

In addition to her formal education, Colleen has completed a course in intellectual property offered by the Worldwide Intellectual Property Organization's Worldwide Academy.
