Overview

Jamal Knight helps clients formulate and execute environmental and real estate projects. He prepares real estate partnership agreements and works with developers on land acquisition, government approvals and financing for new projects. Jamal also focuses on environmental compliance risks, including the Clean Air Act; the Clean Water Act; and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA).

Past Experience

Prior to joining Faegre Baker Daniels, Jamal worked for the White House's Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) and the U.S. House of Representatives Democratic Caucus. He also worked as a research associate for a Washington, D.C. environmental policy institute.
