Overview

Kate Middleton is a business litigator who represents and counsels clients in complex commercial litigation, insurance coverage litigation, product liability litigation and employment litigation.

Commercial Litigation 

Kate represents clients in breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, breach of representations and warranties, and construction defect issues, among other matters. Kate also represents financial institutions in complex commercial litigation matters.

Insurance Litigation 

Kate advises clients in litigation related to general liability insurance, director and officer liability insurance, policy interpretation, and insurer notice correspondence.

Additional Litigation Expertise

Additionally, Kate defends product liability, negligence, toxic tort, premises liability and other tort cases. She has experience representing clients in all aspects of pretrial procedure, and at trial, mediation and arbitration.

Past Experience 

Before joining FaegreBD in 2014, Kate worked at a Chicago-area boutique law firm, where she handled product liability, personal injury, and wrongful death and survival matters. During law school, Kate clerked at Collison & O'Connor, Ltd., and worked at Loyola University's Business Law Clinic and as a research associate in the area of intellectual property law.
