Erik counsels businesses regarding hiring practices, complex employee discipline and discharge matters, and the preparation of employment agreements and personnel policies.
Erik guides companies and investment groups in employment and labor relation matters in M&A transactions. He advises employers regarding the legal compliance of employment policies and practices in acquisitions and drafts agreements for transitioning employees and consultants post-acquisition.
Labor Management Relations
Erik helps national businesses navigate grievance arbitrations, unfair labor practice proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and responses to union organizing campaigns and petitions for representation. He also counsels clients and trains management staff on practical strategies for effective employee management in unionized environments.
