Overview
Mike Nader assists employers with all facets of employee benefits. Mike counsels selling shareholders, employers, trustees, third-party administrators and fiduciary ESOP committees regarding the structure, installation, drafting and administration of ESOPs, as well as on matters related to the governance, sale or acquisition of ESOP-owned companies.
In addition, he works closely with employers and service providers to develop strategies to eliminate or minimize risk when implementing, changing, denying or reducing benefits for welfare and pension plans.
Mike assists with all facets of inquiries and audits by government agencies, including IRS, HHS, DOL and PBGC.
Corporate Benefits Experience
Mike spent several years as the Manager of Compensation and Benefits for Essex Wire Group, and as part of his responsibilities, administering the plans he drafted as benefit counsel as a human resource professional. This experience provided him with a greater understanding of the day-to-day issues (both internal and external) facing employers and service providers.
