Overview

A real estate attorney with over fifty years of experience, Barry Nekritz is widely recognized for his extensive subject matter expertise in real estate law. 

A vast majority of Barry’s current time is spent providing trusted counsel to clients on acquisitions, dispositions and new development of large real estate projects. He is skilled at guiding clients through complex real estate transactions involving multi-use buildings and at representing sellers and buyers in large portfolio transactions. Barry has represented clients in the purchase, sale, financing and construction of myriad real estate projects, including shopping centers, industrial, office, multi-family residential and other properties throughout the United States. He also has extensive experience representing condominium developers and homeowners associations.

Barry continues to share his knowledge as an active member on a number of committees and commissions to advance the practice of real estate law in the United States and has authored numerous publications.

Prior to joining Faegre Baker Daniels, Barry was with Dentons US LLP (formerly SNR Denton) in Chicago.
