Devon Steinmeyer applies his consulting background and legal training to advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance strategies and corporate governance matters. Devon has advised numerous clients on both public and private M&A transactions across multiple industries, with a specific focus on advising private equity clients throughout the entire portfolio company lifecycle. Devon also advises clients on corporate finance, supply and distribution contracts, joint ventures, key vendor and customer contracts, agribusiness contracts, e-commerce contracts and technology licensing agreements.

Past Experience

Before joining Faegre Baker Daniels, Devon practiced with Lathrop & Gage LLP in Kansas City, where he gained experience in mergers and acquisitions, commercial lending, ESOP and general corporate matters. Prior to returning to law school, Devon spent four years with Deloitte Consulting, consulting clients on strategy and IT process redesign projects in the accounting and finance areas of various public and private oil and gas and consumer industrial products enterprises.

Personal Interests

When he’s not in the office, Devon enjoys chasing his toddler around, golfing and traveling. He also considers himself an amateur chef and “part-time” techie.
