Dan Tychonievich partners with clients to build business-focused patent portfolios. He represents clients in the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and international patent and trademark applications and in intellectual property litigation. Dan has experience in mechanical, electro-mechanical and chemical-mechanical technologies, as well as software. He is experienced in licensing of intellectual property, non-infringement/invalidity opinions and trademark oppositions.

Past Experience

Before joining Faegre Baker Daniels, Dan was a patent lawyer with electronics manufacturer CTS Corp. in Elkhart, Indiana. He also has experience in corporate and contractual matters. Dan's practice is further enhanced by his extensive experience as a practicing engineer. He was registered as a Professional Engineer in Ohio.
