Overview

Kathryn Warner helps clients prepare and prosecute patent applications across various industries, including medical devices, mechanical, chemical and polymer arts as well as materials engineering and processing. She brings experience in advanced ceramic materials related to alternative energy systems, including fuel cells, petrochemical and catalytic applications, aerospace and automotive technologies.

Past Experience

Before joining Faegre Baker Daniels, Kathryn worked as the in-house patent agent for Schaeffler Group USA / LuK USA LLC, where she led portfolio management and prosecution for torque converter technologies. She also worked as a patent agent at an Akron, Ohio-based law firm, supporting patent litigation and patent prosecution.

Kathryn leverages a background as an R&D engineer and inventor to understand the challenges innovators face in cultivating and protecting intellectual property.

Personal Interests

Kathryn enjoys hiking and agility, and she is a volunteer firefighter.
