Obtained $9 million jury verdict in favor of client Cargill following three-week trial arising from supplier's breach of contract and warranties in connection with 2007 sale of beef contaminated with E. coli O157:H7. Obtained summary judgment as to supplier's $16.3 million counterclaim, asserting interference with contractual relationships, arising out of 2009 New York Times article (2014 WL 1344487). Affirmed on appeal. (2016 WL 1319414, --F.3d-- (8th Cir. Apr. 5, 2016)).
