Insurance Commissioner Monitors Low-Income Health Plan Provider

Our firm's insurance team advised Washington, D.C. Insurance Commissioner William P. White, as he monitored D.C. Chartered Health Plan’s financial condition. The firm now serves as counsel to the Commissioner as rehabilitator in connection with the court-supervised receivership. Chartered served approximately 110,000 Medicaid-eligible city residents, and is Washington, D.C.’s largest manager of health care for low-income residents.
