In July 2015, subsidiaries of Black Hills Corporation acquired gas utility and pipeline assets from Gas Natural, Inc. Our firm represented Black Hills Corporation.
Cheyenne Light, Fuel and Power Company acquired all of the stock of Energy West Wyoming, Inc. from Energy West, Inc., a subsidiary of Gas Natural, Inc. Black Hills Exploration and Production, Inc. acquired certain pipeline assets of Energy West Development, Inc., a subsidiary of Gas Natural, Inc.
Black Hills intends to operate the utility under the name Black Hills Energy.
