Manufacturing Company Resolves Alleged Violation of the Clean Water Act

A manufacturing company resolved, without enforcement, alleged violations of Clean Water Act (CWA) stormwater rules after the flooding of the company’s chemical manufacturing facility. Our firm presented written defenses to the state agency culminating in an in-person meeting to help the agency understand the issues so the case could be resolved. We also helped the company navigate complications when extreme flooding caused the incident to reoccur while the original case was still pending.
