Robert K. Stanley


Bob Stanley is professional responsibility counsel to the firm. In that capacity, he advises Faegre Baker Daniels' lawyers in matters relating to conflicts of interest and other legal ethics issues.

For more than 30 years, before taking on the role of professional responsibility counsel, Bob represented the firm's clients in complex civil litigation and private arbitrations. As a litigator, he focused his practice in the following subject areas:

  • Antitrust claims under the federal Sherman, Clayton and Robinson-Patman Acts or comparable state laws
  • Probate-related litigation, including will contests, will/trust construction disputes and breach-of-trust claims
  • Bankruptcy litigation, including adversary proceedings
  • Distributor/dealer termination cases
  • Contract disputes, including breach of contract claims and contract construction disputes
