Ryann E. Ricchio

Ryann Ricchio is an associate in the firm's labor and employment group where she counsels clients on federal and state compliance and regulations, as well as representing them in employment litigation. Ryann also has practical experience with human resources issues facing large and small employers from prior positions with ArcelorMittal Indiana Harbor and Citizens Financial Bank.

Ryann possesses a background in tax law, having joined Faegre Baker Daniels in 2011 as a member of the firm's tax advocacy group. She assisted corporate taxpayers with matters and disputes involving state income and franchise taxes, sales and use tax, and local property taxes and property tax exemptions. She also assisted taxpayers with the new Medical Device Excise Tax.

As a law student, Ryann was a summer associate at Faegre Baker Daniels in Indianapolis and another Indiana law firm. She worked for two years as a certified legal intern with Indiana University's Student Legal Services, providing legal counseling and representation in an array of areas to IU's student population.

Prior to law school, Ryann's work in the personnel department at ArcelorMittal Indiana Harbor involved handling various bargaining unit personnel matters, including the initiation of strategic recruitment plans for craft positions, facilitation of interviews and the maintenance of working relationships with local labor unions. At Citizens Financial Bank, she offered support in projects including federal compliance, employee training and disciplinary issues.
