Samina Kapadia


Samina Kapadia supports clients during complex construction and real estate disputes. She manages litigation from inception, through discovery, settlement trial and post-trial.

Samina also provides counseling, advice and contract drafting assistance in connection with construction, procurement and real estate projects throughout the country. She has advised clients on projects involving manufacturing facilities, ink processing plants, and numerous other commercial and industrial facilities. Samina also advises clients on commercial contracts and consulting agreements for multinational companies.

Samina has represented clients in both state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels. In addition to real estate and construction matters, she has advised on a broad range of domestic and international commercial litigation matters.

Representative Experience

  • Drafted emergency motions and complaint for construction dispute in which a party damaged a shared wall during a construction project.
  • Investigated and advised on Illinois’ statute of limitations for construction accidents.
  • Successfully argued and defended a landlord-tenant dispute in state court.
  • Managed discovery and litigation strategy for an international employment dispute involving laundering of the client’s products.
