Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition & Conference (WEFTEC)

Patrick Miller of Faegre Baker Daniels will be a presenter during the 85th Annual Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC) from September 29 through October 3 in New Orleans.

In a morning program on Tuesday, October 2, Miller will participate in a UV Disinfection and Design Build session entitled, "Thinking Out of the Box." His presentation deals with public design-build procurement in Illinois, explaining a case study where the firm handled procurement and contracting issues and a client handled the engineering and UV technical issues.

The five-day conference will explore the future of WEF's new strategic direction and how professionals can use innovation and creativity to turn challenges into opportunities for success. The keynote presentation will be delivered by Jim Carroll, one of the world's leading international futurists, trends and innovation experts.
