Faegre & Benson LLP is pleased to announce that two of its partners were recently inducted into the American College of Environmental Lawyers (ACOEL). Delmar R. Ehrich, a partner in the firm's Minneapolis office, and James R. Spaanstra, a partner in the firm's Denver office, were both inducted at the college's annual meeting held in San Francisco on September 26.
Ehrich is a trial lawyer with more than 25 years of experience representing manufacturing, energy and agricultural clients in complex environmental litigation. Spaanstra offers more than 30 years of experience representing commercial and industrial clients in complex environmental permitting, regulatory, and land use matters.
ACOEL is a professional association of distinguished private sector lawyers who practice in the field of environmental law. Membership is by invitation and members are recognized by their peers as preeminent in their field. ACOEL members are dedicated to maintaining and improving the ethical practice of environmental law, the administration of justice, and the development of environmental law at both the state and federal level.
The ACOEL was formed in July 2007. Ehrich and Spaanstra are among the first class of Fellows to be inducted into ACOEL.
