Edward C. Fitzpatrick has joined Baker & Daniels LLP as a partner in the law firm's Chicago office. He will concentrate his practice on the financial services industry and complex business litigation, including the representation of bank holding companies, banks and other financial institutions in regulatory, merger and acquisition, compliance, loan workout, class action and other litigation, and transactional matters.
Before joining Baker & Daniels, Fitzpatrick was Executive Vice President at FBOP Corporation.
Fitzpatrick also is a former partner at the law firm of Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell LLP (the successor to Lord Bissell & Brook LLP) in Chicago where his practice concentrated on banking, complex litigation and loan workouts. He has represented clients in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth, Seventh, Ninth and Eleventh Circuits.
Fitzpatrick serves on the Board of Directors for Catholic Charities of Chicago. He received his law degree from the Harvard Law School and his bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa.
