Heather H. Manning has joined Baker & Daniels LLP as an associate in the law firm's Chicago office. She will focus her practice in business and corporate finance.
Before joining Baker & Daniels, Manning practiced at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Chicago. She began her legal career at Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP in New York and later practiced at Gould & Ratner LLP in Chicago.
Manning earned her law degree cum laude from the Georgetown University Law Center after graduating with distinction from the University of Michigan with a bachelor's degree in political science.
In her legal practice, Manning represents clients in a range of transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, private placements of debt and equity securities as well as secured lending transactions. She also counsels clients with respect to corporate governance matters and day-to-day business concerns.
