48 Baker & Daniels Attorneys Named to Indiana Super Lawyers

Forty-eight Baker & Daniels LLP attorneys have been selected to Indiana Super Lawyers for 2011. Additionally, 19 more attorneys at the firm have been named "Rising Stars," a distinction to recognize leading up-and-coming lawyers.

Super Lawyers is an annual rating service of outstanding attorneys who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process is multi-phased, including independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.

The objective of Super Lawyers is to create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource to assist attorneys and consumers in the search for legal counsel. All honorees are listed on the Super Lawyers website at www.superlawyers.com.

Through a survey, lawyers nominate the best attorneys they've personally observed in action. Each nomination carries a point value, and nominations from other law firms have substantially greater point value than nominations from lawyers in the same firm. Only the top 5 percent of Indiana's attorneys are selected among the state's most elite.

"Rising Stars" honors up-and-coming lawyers who are 40 years old or younger or who have been practicing law for 10 years or less.

Baker & Daniels' 2011 list of Indiana Super Lawyers represents 24 difference practice areas. The firm's "Rising Stars" include 13 practice areas.
