Baker & Daniels' Michael Nader Given Gibson Peak Performance Award

Gibson has presented its Peak Performance Award to Michael J. Nader of Baker & Daniels LLP in recognition of consistent delivery of outstanding service.

The Peak Performance Award recognizes the accomplishments of Gibson's top performing business partners. Each year, Gibson takes pride in the objective selection method used to decide the Peak Performance Award winners, embarking on a rigorous process of nominating candidates and a subsequent firmwide vote to choose the winner.

"It is people like Mike, acting as though outstanding performance is part of what should be expected, that brings maximum value to our relationship," Gibson said in a statement. "Mike truly makes a difference. The entire Gibson team is pleased to honor Mike with this award; we regard the quality of his work as a reflection of his leadership and the commitment of Baker & Daniels to our firm."

Nader focuses his law practice on all facets of employee benefits. In addition to traditional services, he works closely with employers to develop strategies to eliminate or minimize risk when denying or reducing benefits or responding to government inquiries. Nader has been named to The Best Lawyers in America for employee benefits law every year since 2005.

In addition to practicing with Baker & Daniels, Nader serves as an adjunct professor for the University of Notre Dame Law School, where he teaches an employee benefits course.

Before joining Baker & Daniels in 1999, Nader spent several years as the Manager of Compensation and Benefits for a large corporation, which provided him with a greater understanding of the day-to-day issues (both internal and external) facing employers and service providers.
