Jason J. Stover has joined Faegre Baker Daniels LLP as special counsel in the law firm's Minneapolis office where he will practice in the business litigation group.
Stover practices primarily in the area of franchise litigation, representing franchisors in a range of franchise litigation matters. His expertise includes issues surrounding the termination of the franchise relationship, enforcement of post-termination obligations, fraud and misrepresentation claims, earnings claims, vicarious liability, enforcement of franchise system standards, and recovery of lost profits and liquidated damages. Stover currently serves as associate editor for the Franchise Law Journal.
In addition to franchise law, Stover represents clients in mediation, arbitration and trial in a variety of business disputes. Before joining Faegre Baker Daniels, he was a principal at another full-service law firm in Minneapolis.
Stover graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School in 2000 after earning his bachelor's degree magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 1997.
