Eric J. Howe has joined Faegre Baker Daniels LLP as an associate in the law firm's finance and restructuring practice.
Howe brings experience in representing clients in complex restructuring transactions — both in and out of court — involving business reorganizations, debt restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and litigation. In addition to companies, Howe has represented creditors, committees and distressed asset purchasers.
Before joining Faegre Baker Daniels, Howe was a corporate restructuring associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in Chicago for more than six years. After graduating from the University of Iowa College of Law with distinction in 2005, he was a bankruptcy associate with Husch & Eppenberger LLC (now Husch Blackwell LLP) in Kansas City, Mo.
In 2002, Howe earned his bachelor's degree in justice systems from Truman State University where he captained the football team and finished runner-up for the Mid-America Conference's student-athlete of the year award.
