Faegre Baker Daniels has significantly reinforced its real estate and corporate offering with the addition of Petar Orlic and Josip Stajfer joining the firm from McGuireWoods.
Orlic is a partner who brings extensive experience in all aspects of corporate real estate work. His practice is focused on commercial acquisitions and real estate finance, both domestically and internationally. Orlic also has a wealth of experience advising on real estate management in Europe. He has a wide range of clients from institutional investors to foreign and domestic banks, representing a significant number of U.S. banks and investment funds on multimillion-pound commercial real estate acquisitions.
Orlic will be supported by Stajfer, who joins the corporate team as an associate. He focuses on mergers and acquisitions, company formations and corporate reorganisations. Fluent in six languages, Stajfer advises on all aspects of corporate finance.
“There is increasing demand from both domestic and international clients looking to invest in real estate,” Orlic said. “Faegre Baker Daniels as an international firm is well placed to meet the growing need for real estate expertise, both domestically and in Europe. I look forward to working with the team and helping further advance the firm’s real estate proposition.”
“London is a global hub for real estate and property development,” said Paul Finlan, leader of FaegreBD’s London office. “As an international firm with a global reach, we are able to service worldwide clients with commercial real estate interests. We are thrilled to welcome Petar and Josip as we continue to focus on strategic growth in FaegreBD’s real estate offering.”
