Nicholas Kunz has joined the intellectual property team at Faegre Baker Daniels as an associate. He will practice from the firm’s Indianapolis office.
Kunz focuses in patent law, advising on both foreign and domestic prosecution. He is experienced in drafting patent applications, trademark applications, appeal briefs, responses and declarations, as well as conducting interviews with examiners. He also has experience in patent, copyright and trademark infringement litigation.
Kunz holds a degree in chemical engineering and has advised on patents related to software, semiconductors, lithium ion batteries and aerospace technology, as well as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, artificial fabrics and isolated DNA sequences.
Kunz received his law degree from the George Washington University Law School in 2012 and undergraduate degrees from Arizona State University in 2009.
