Carrie Garber Siegrist has joined Faegre Baker Daniels as an associate in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office.
Siegrist counsels nonprofit clients including public charities, trade associations, social welfare organizations and private foundations. She collaborates with clients on matters such as forming new entities and applying for tax-exempt status, governing their nonprofit, maintaining tax-exempt status, funding innovative research ventures, and managing international operations and philanthropy.
Prior to joining Faegre Baker Daniels, Siegrist worked in-house at the Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation, co-founded and led Cambodia’s Children Education Fund, and taught in The Bronx with Teach for America. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from the American University Washington College of Law, her Master of Education from Bank Street College of Education and her Bachelor of Arts in political economy of labor from Bates College.
