Matthew Elliot Joins Faegre Baker Daniels in Indianapolis

Matthew Elliott has joined Faegre Baker Daniels as part of the business litigation group in the firm’s Indianapolis office.

Elliott represents clients in a broad range of litigation matters arising from business disputes and government regulations.

Prior to joining FaegreBD, Elliott served as a deputy attorney general at the Office of the Indiana Attorney General, where he represented the state in civil litigation and appeals in both state and federal courts. His caseload ranged from arguing cases in state trial courts to drafting appellate briefs in the U.S. Supreme Court. Additionally, he advised agencies and officials on a variety of legal matters, including in administrative and constitutional law.

Elliott earned his J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, serving as the note development editor of the Indiana Health Law Review. He received a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University.
