Mohamed H. Sabur has been tapped to join Faegre Baker Daniels as an associate with the firm’s corporate practice group. He will practice in the firm’s Minneapolis office.
Sabur has particular experience with issues related to nonprofit governance and ethics, nonprofit structures, relationships and affiliations, public charities and private foundations, churches, mosques and religious organizations, and international charitable transactions and operations.
In his last post, Sabur served as an associate at Adler & Colvin. Prior to private practice, Sabur served as counsel and director of the Program to Strengthen Muslim Charities at Muslim Advocates. He also worked as a communications assistant to Rep. Betty McCollum, D-St. Paul, and as a legislative assistant to former Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minneapolis, Minnesota’s current attorney general.
Sabur earned his B.A. in political science from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2005 and his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2010, where he received the Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award and served as senior editor and associate editor of the Journal of International Law.
