Jerome Borden Joins Faegre Baker Daniels in Minneapolis

Jerome Borden has joined Faegre Baker Daniels as part of the corporate group in the firm’s Minneapolis office.

Borden guides clients through complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions, and advises clients on corporate governance, securities regulation and compliance matters.

Prior to joining Faegre Baker Daniels, Borden was a business law associate with a Minneapolis firm, where he practiced principally in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, securities regulation, private equity, start-up entity formation and emerging growth financing, and general corporate law.

Before embarking on his legal career, Borden served as a captain in the United States Marine Corps, where he served as a Marine Officer Instructor for the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps at Iowa State University, and as a platoon commander and company executive officer in 2nd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment.

Borden earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School. He also has received his MBA from the University of Iowa, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota.
