Labor Law Seminar - Indianapolis
Hot Issues, Strategies and Practical Guidance for the Non-Union and Union Employer
Indianapolis, IN
Overview
For the first time in years, the National Labor Relations Board has a full complement of properly appointed members. Not surprisingly, the Board has a full regulatory and case agenda that promises to substantially impact the labor relations strategies of both union and non-union employers. In this year's seminar, key members of Faegre Baker Daniels' labor management relations team will address the following topics:
- Labor law in a new era: Understanding and applying the NLRB's recent decisions affecting work rules, employment policies and employee handbooks.
- Labor law rights and obligations of buyers and sellers of unionized businesses, including how a buyer of a unionized business can operate it as a non-union business after the transaction.
- Best practices for managing union and non-union operations.
There is no fee to participate.
