National Conference of Bar Presidents

On August 8, Scott Chinn of Faegre Baker Daniels will join the National Conference of Bar Presidents to moderate a plenary session on "To Speak Out or Not to Speak Out: That Is the Question." Chinn will lead a discussion among current and former bar presidents on whether bar associations should take positions on various issues. The panel will address the hurdles of weighing in, considerations for mandatory and voluntary bars, and how to balance member interests with "doing the right thing."

Chinn is a past president of the Indianapolis Bar Association.
