Scott Chinn Praises Indiana Team for Performance at National Civics Competition

Indiana's We the People champions, a team of students from Munster High School, took fifth place among 56 teams in the We the People National Finals, April 27 through May 1. Scott Chinn of Faegre Baker Daniels was a judge for the national civics competition in Washington, D.C. and saw Munster's five-student team compete, Indiana Lawyer reported in the article "Munster Ranks Fifth in National Competition."

"They did great — they were really truly incredible," Chinn said. He added that the influence of Munster High School government teacher and team adviser Michael Gordon is evident.

"Michael Gordon is really something special...that program is truly benefited by his direction as their teacher," Chinn told Indiana Lawyer.
