John Mandler Helps Obtain Dismissal of Fraud Claims in Novartis Suit

As Law360 reports, on August 27 a federal judge in New Jersey dismissed fraud claims from a long-running suit in which a group of blueberry farmers have accused Novartis Crop Protection Inc. of manufacturing a pesticide that damaged their crops. U.S. District Judge Noel L. Hillman agreed with Novartis that such fraud claims are subsumed by New Jersey product liability law. The article, "Novartis Dodges Fraud Claims in Farmers' Pesticide Suit," notes that Novartis is represented by Faegre Baker Daniels partner John Mandler.
