Beena Patel and Josh Andrews' Refugee Advocacy Work Mentioned in Politico

Last year, FaegreBD Consulting managing advisor Beena Patel and director Josh Andrews helped persuade the authors of the National Defense Authorization Act to include a provision for 3,000 special immigrant visas for U.S. allies in Afghanistan. That work has continued this year as part of the Patel's and Andrews' continued relationship with International Refugee Assistance Project, a pro bono client. Politico recently highlighted their efforts “advocating for 4,000 special immigrant visas in the [fiscal year] 2017 National Defense Authorization Act.”
