Murray Clark Discusses Indiana Primaries, Butler Business School Donation on Inside Indiana Business

Faegre Baker Daniels partner and former Indiana state senator Murray Clark appeared on the May 1 edition of Inside Indiana Business’s weekly “INsiders” panel with host Gerry Dick. The panelists began by discussing the Indiana primaries, which were held two days after the show aired on WTHR. Asked whether high-profile endorsements on the Republican side would have an impact at the polls, Clark suggested that endorsements “don’t carry the same weight as they used to” and that Indiana voters can make an informed decision on who to vote for “irrespective of endorsements.”

The panel also discussed the $25 million gift Butler University College of Business received from Andre Lacy. The program will now be called the Andre B. Lacy School of Business.

“Butler has tremendous momentum, and [Butler] President [James] Danko is from the business community, and he has hoped to bolster the business school,” Clark said. “This is a huge thing for Butler.”
