Innovator Liability for Drug Manufacturers

Tarifa Laddon, Patrick Reilly and Joshua Busch authored an article in For the Defense explaining the theory known as "innovator liability" and how it is affecting name-brand manufacturers. 
"Under an innovator liability theory, plaintiffs attempt to shift blame from the generic manufacturer of a drug that allegedly harmed a plaintiff to the name-brand manufacturer of an equivalent product not ingested by the plaintiff."
