Case Update: The Southern District of New York Picks a Side in a Joint Employer Case

Lauren Linderman authored an article for The Franchise Lawyer (a publication of the American Bar Association), which analyzed a case in which Domino’s Pizza was sued as a franchisor in a joint-employer case. The article discusses and analyzes the ruling by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, that Domino’s Pizza, as a franchisor, did not exercise the requisite level of control over employees of its franchisees to be held liable as a joint employer.
