Overview
Abdullah leverages his multifaceted legal education to bring a wide-ranging perspective to litigation matters. He developed his legal writing and research skills as a judicial extern to the Hon. Christopher McDonald on the Iowa Court of Appeals and as a research assistant to a constitutional law professor. He excelled as an oral advocate, earning recognitions as early as the fall of his first year of law school, and was ultimately selected a member of the Order of Barristers, a prestigious accolade given only to those with demonstrated outstanding oral advocacy skills.
Abdullah’s practical experiences during law school inform his strategic litigation planning. As an advanced criminal defense student attorney, he represented clients facing felony charges, regularly negotiating with county attorneys and arguing motions before the court. His summer clerkship in the legal department of a Fortune 500 company based in Iowa provides him with insight into the workings of a sophisticated in-house legal team.
Personal Interests
Abdullah prides himself on the quality of his relationships. His family, friends and fiancé mean the world to him. He loves to exercise, cook and cheer for his favorite soccer club, Arsenal.
