Angela Christy provides strategic and legal solutions that drive efficient tax credit transactions. She focuses on housing (particularly affordable housing) projects and community development. She has represented nonprofit and for-profit developers, investors and governmental entities in more than 300 low-income housing tax credit transactions throughout the United States. She is a Minnesota Certified Real Property Specialist.

Angela helps developers ensure that their various financing sources are compatible and properly structured to meet tax credit requirements. She focuses on creating real estate structures for mixed-use projects that are compatible with the financing, often resulting in the use of condominiums, vertical plats, ground leases and reciprocal easement agreements.

Through the use of tax credits, bonds and other affordable housing tools, Angela has assisted developers in various innovative housing and mixed-use developments. She has also represented lenders and investors with tax credit projects.
