Minnesota Attorney General’s Office
As assistant attorney general, Lisa represented state agencies and commissions, including the MPUC, the Minnesota Department of Transportation, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. She litigated complex cases in state and federal courts involving energy regulatory disputes, oil pipeline permitting, state electric ratemaking, solar developments, environmental compliance, and environmental review including NEPA, MEPA, and MERA.
Prior to her work in the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office, Lisa was a partner at a Minneapolis law firm, where she advised traditional and renewable energy companies, building contractors and other clients on legal and policy issues.
Lisa also previously served as assistant attorney general in the Alaska Attorney General’s Office.
