Overview

Matthew Elliott represents clients in a broad range of litigation matters arising from business disputes and government regulations.

Before joining Faegre Baker Daniels, Matthew served as a deputy attorney general at the Office of the Indiana Attorney General, where he represented the state in civil litigation and appeals in both state and federal courts. Matthew’s caseload ranged from arguing cases in state trial courts to drafting appellate briefs in the U.S. Supreme Court. Additionally, he advised agencies and officials on a variety of legal matters, including in administrative and constitutional law.

Prior to graduating from law school, Matthew served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Mark S. Massa of the Indiana Supreme Court and worked for the in-house legal departments of a technology company and hospital system.
