J.P. is an experienced courtroom advocate, having tried criminal and civil cases to verdict in U.S. District Court as both a prosecutor and defense lawyer, and having argued numerous cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
White Collar Expertise
J.P. represents individuals and businesses in investigations and enforcement proceedings conducted by the U.S. Department of Justice and other government agencies, including the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Office of Foreign Assets Control, and the Bureau of Industry and Security. J.P. also represents clients in high-stakes civil litigation involving allegations of fraud and other misconduct. He regularly leads internal investigations regarding allegations of misconduct and related compliance issues.
