Overview

Miko Hernandez works closely with clients to execute commercial financing transactions that align to their business goals. She represents agents, lenders, tribes, developers, private equity groups and other business entities in all aspects of syndicated loan transactions, agricultural lending, tribal financing, structured financings and other financing transactions. Miko also advises financial institutions and tribal entities in workouts and refinancing of credit facilities.

Financial Transactions

Miko represents commercial and cooperative banks, hedge funds, financial institutions and other lenders in a variety of transactions, including asset-based loans, borrowing base loans and cross-border financings.

Native American Finance

Miko is a member of the firm's nationally recognized Native American finance team where she represents tribes and financial institutions nationwide in connection with complex financing and development of casinos, hotels, governmental and health clinics, and tax-exempt projects. Such transactions involve navigating through licensing and/or regulatory approvals by tribal and state gaming commissions, the National Indian Gaming Commission and the Bureau of Indian Affairs.

Miko also advises tribal clients on general business matters, including the negotiation of treasury management and merchant processing agreements and other banking agreements.
