Jolien is a team player who collaborates with clients in the retail and agribusiness sectors to ensure the immigration team provides consistent services that exceed expectations.

Experienced Immigration Professional

Jolien understands the legal processes clients rely on to obtain U.S. work authorization for employees. She supports clients’ goals by communicating with government agencies, including USCIS, U.S. embassies/consulates and CBP.

Client Service Leader

Jolien has developed streamlined business processes for filing both nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions to meet clients’ business needs. She serves as a primary contact for some clients using the firm’s immigration case management system, answering their questions and solving challenges. Internally, Jolien advocates for best practices to ensure these clients receive accurate and up-to-date information. She collaborates seamlessly with both attorneys and legal administrative assistants, who work in concert to meet clients’ needs.

International Perspective

A dual citizen of the United States and The Netherlands, Jolien brings first-hand experience with the immigration process. Arriving in the U.S. at age 14 as an L-2 dependent, she returned to the U.S. on her own in F-1 status to complete college after studying at the University of Amsterdam.

Past Experience

Jolien has past paralegal experience at both a bankruptcy law firm and at a boutique immigration firm in Minneapolis.
