Hud works with employers in both the private and public sectors. He is formally trained and has extensive experience in both traditional and collaborative (interest –based) bargaining, and he is also experienced in handling union representation campaigns, proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and arbitrations.
Hud counsels clients and conducts supervisory training on matters such as:
- Strategic planning for union negotiations
- Relocating work
- Plant closings
- Reductions in force
- Personnel policies and handbooks
- Violence in the workplace
- Employment agreements, including covenants not to compete
He also has significant experience in the diversity and affirmative action arena.
